In June the Sugden Society provided members and others the opportunity to enjoy a one-man play written and presented by Alan Hopgood (Wyvern 1952) on the fortunes of a carer who subsequently becomes a widower. In spite of having lost his wife of many years not all is doom and gloom!

The Carer is one of a suite of plays written by Alan which provide a humorous outlook on challenging health issues.

The on-line presentation via YouTube was simultaneously made available to the members of Wesley College’s Sapere Aude Bequest Society.
