The 2014 new students, “freshers,” were welcomed to the Queen’s community during Orientation week. O-week is always a time packed with fun activities for students to get to know each other, Queen’s, and the surrounding Melbourne area before classes begin.
The week of activities was led by an able and energetic group of third year students composed of the General Committee and O-week leaders. Activities included a trip to the beach, a Queen’s version of The Amazing Race to introduce new students to key places around Melbourne, BBQ’s, silly games in the Quad, as well as more practical things such as tours of the University campus.
