Queen’s College commenced the intercollegiate Reconciliation Week program on Monday with a showing of Warwick Thornton’s film,’Sweet Country’, prefaced by Jasper Howell (1st year Arts, pictured right) speaking about what Reconciliation week means to him, what it was like growing up in an Aboriginal community, and what it was like losing a close friend during a routine police check.

Jasper posed a challenge to our residents to take a moment to learn something new and to embrace and share one of the world’s oldest living cultures.
