On behalf of the Queen’s College community, I am delighted to announce the appointments of Associate Professor Megan Robertson (Wyvern 1980) and Mr Paul Ryan (Wyvern 1991) as President and Vice President of the Queen’s College Council, respectively.

As Queen’s moves into a chapter rich with possibility, the work ahead asks for steadiness, curiosity, and moral courage. We will be widening access, strengthening wellbeing, deepening our Indigenous partnerships, refreshing our campus, and helping young adults grow into professionals whose competence is matched by conscience and courage. It is work that calls for honesty with one another, generous debate, and ambition directed toward the common good.

In Megan and Paul, I see that blend of clarity and heart that lets our wonderful community lift its eyes a little higher.

They bring wisdom earned over long service, a welcome openness to the hard questions, and an instinct for what truly moves a place like Queen’s forward. I am grateful for their willingness to step into this shared endeavour, and I look forward to the good we will carry, together.
