Peter is Professor of Literature at the Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences, Australian Catholic University. His publications include Shakespeare’s Individualism (Cambridge University Press, 2010) and English Renaissance Tragedy: Ideas of Freedom (Bloomsbury/Arden Shakespeare, 2015). He co-edited Shakespeare’s Creative Legacies: Artists, Writers, Performers, Readers, for Bloomsbury/Arden Shakespeare in 2016 and is currently working on another book about the politics of nature in English literature.
