Undergraduate Application
How To Apply
We welcome applications from local and international students planning to study at the University of Melbourne, RMIT, and Monash Pharmacy.
As places are in high demand, we encourage you to apply early and put Queen’s College as your first preference.
Applications for residence commencing Semester 1, 2027 are open.
We are also accepting applications for residence commencing Semester 2, 2026.
Application Process
| Step 1: Complete the Application Form |
Visit the Intercollegiate website and complete an application form putting Queen’s College as your #1 preference. |
| Step 2: Online resume |
After you have submitted your application form we will be in touch to request some additional documents, payment of your $75 Application fee and will send you a link to complete an Applicant Profile. The Applicant Profile gives us insight into your achievements and experiences. It is used as the basis for your interview at Queen’s. At that time we will also send you a Scholarship Application Form should you wish to apply for one of the many scholarships we offer. |
| Step 3: Interview |
After you have completed your Applicant Profile and submitted all of your required documents we will book an interview time with you. Scroll down for a short guide on how to prepare for the interview. |
| Step 4: Application Outcome |
We make provisional offers throughout the year even if you are still waiting on a university offer or ATAR. It is strongly recommended that you apply as early as possible so that you have the best opportunity of receiving an offer. We have two main offer rounds – one in the first two weeks of December and the final round in mid January. |

Preparing For Your Queen’s Interview
This short guide is here to help you feel more at ease, and to give you a clearer sense of what matters to us, and why.
- What kind of questions will we ask?
We’ll invite you to share some real-life stories; moments when you learned something, helped someone, or had your thinking challenged. We’re interested in what you care about, how you’re growing, and how you make sense of the world. - Should you prepare for the interview?
You don’t need to rehearse. In your interview, it’s perfectly fine for you to pause and think as you find your words. What matters is that you’re ready to share some stories from your life. We’re wanting to get a sense of who you are, and who you’re becoming. - Do you need to sound polished?
No. We’re not expecting speeches, just honest reflections. We’re meeting you as you are, a work in progress, like us all. - Do you need to be an extrovert?
Not at all. Some of our students are quiet, some are boisterous, and most are somewhere in between. - What is Queen’s looking for?
Above all, we cherish being a close-knit and welcoming community; one boldly oriented to ongoing growth. Yes, we care about cleverness. But we care just as deeply about kindness, inclusion, courage, and curiosity. We’re looking for people who can succeed academically and who:
- Care about others and community
- Are open to learning and growing
- Are willing to be stretched; by ideas, by people, by experiences
You don’t need to have life figured out. But if you’re up for growing – in yourself, and in community – Queen’s just might be your place.
