Any significant change in environment is daunting, and my move from Perth to Melbourne was no exception. Amidst the uncertainties of a new city, university and college, receiving first-year scholarships from Queen’s was not only a financial blessing but a testament to the generosity and welcoming nature of this college community.

These scholarships have made my residency in this castle possible, providing me with the momentous opportunity to develop independence whilst immersed in the unparalleled traditions and values that belong to Queen’s. I am honoured to be part of the immense legacy Jack Clarke has bestowed upon this college and know that this privilege will only further motivate me to fulfil my potential here over the coming years.
